The client...

This is a great role for someone who can leverage data from SuccessFactors and Oracle, translating data and insights into meaningful visualization and stories to communicate actionable intelligence to HR. The ideal candidate is someone who can consult with Leaders in these four Centers of Excellence: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Organizational Develop and Learning & Development to enhance their people data dashboards. The majority of dashboards are done in Excel with some in Power BI.

The client is the Head of Human Resources Development & Talent Acquisition in Canada, with a Fortune 500 company in the top 100 retail industry. While global and large, they have a people-first culture – they live and breathe their culture and values daily. The Canada Division is experiencing growth and prioritizes delivering actionable, data-driven people insights that inform strategic talent decisions to improve organizational effectiveness. The role is a consulting contract, billable on an as-need basis, 100% remote.

The requirements...

Does this sound like you?

  • You are an Excel and Power BI expert

  • You are familiar with HR and talent metrics in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Organizational Develop and Learning & Development.

  • You get how to extract data from multiple sources, prep, manipulate, validate and clean the data, identify data gaps and make recommendations to resolve gaps so that the data is accurate and organized into meaningful tables.

  • You can investigate people data, identify trends and correlations creating meaningful charts and insights.

  • You prepare standard dashboards from insights into meaningful visualizations and stories.

  • You create repeatable Excel workbooks, converting to PowerPoint and train resources on extracting data and creating tables and visualizations.

  • You can identify current Excel reports suitable to convert to Power BI.

  • You know how to partner with IT to leverage data, use self-service tools like Power BI.

  • Experienced with SuccessFactors and Oracle.
